Books: Biographies such as Cook & Perry’s Journals of discovery of the North Pole, etc; Raymond Brown’s theological works on the Birth & Death of the Messiah; CF Keil on Old Testament Commentary; Michael Card on the Gospel of John; Louis L’Amour Westerns; and anything written by my wife, Penny!
TV Shows: The Unit & 24
Movies: Anything starring John Wayne

What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas!
What kind of jobs have you had in the past?
I’ve been in professional ministry my whole career; but on the side I've also done a little management consulting, toured as a musician, and actually taught British Literature for a year.
What have you done to improve your knowledge in the last year?
I enjoy academic study such as languages (Hebrew, German & Latin most prevalently for translation purposes), and the study of great characters of history. I also enjoy the quiet study of people from observation, probably inspired by my Psych major.
What are you most proud of in your life?
I get to serve the Lord…that’s way more than I deserve!
If you could live in a different time and place, when and where would it be?
Mid to Late 1800’s American West. My Grand-dad always said I would have liked it then, and I’m pretty certain he was right. My Jeep is about as close as I can get to riding a horse to work.
What would you think about a world without...
Clocks? Cool…maybe we’d learn to read time by the sun again.
TVs? The news would take a little longer, but ‘oh well’.
Computers? I’ll let you know when I completely figure them out!
Video games? I’d rather go hunting for real, anyway!
Fast food? Who needs it!
